The hotel is super convenient to Kyoto station and the small rooms are well equipped. The staff were helpful and kind when we had a problem with a booking at another hotel that required a Japanese speaker, going above and beyond. The onsen is a great extra addition and makes up for the small rooms. The rooms are very well priced.

The location opposite the Kyoto station was a big positive. The room and bathroom were very clean with comfortable beds. They offer extra pillows near the Reception and toiletries are also provided there. The breakfast menu is limited and mainly has Japanese dishes. There were 3 types of bread and only cornflakes as the cereal. Plain yogurt is available with tinned fruit.

Very nice hotel close to Kyoto Central Station - just across the street. Comfortable rooms with limited view. Typically (for Japan) equipped with everything. in addition litttle Onsen on the ground floor - open till late night. Free coffee and luggage storage in the the reception area. Friendly staff. Convinient to arrive with Shinkanse high speed trains. Lot of restaurants in the station and neighborhood - only very limited in the late night. Metostation closeby.

Sanco Inn is right in front of Kyoto Station, which has acces to Shinkansen and KIX airport via train. It was a comfortable stay, the breakfast was really good, two options, continental and japanese. The rooms were a bit more spacious than the usual japanese rooms, and the temeprature was nice.

Great location! Literally across from Kyoto station so easy to access all the lines from metro to JR to shinkansen. The onsen is very clean and neat, I love using it after walking over 25K steps a day. They also help with luggage transfer but they accept cash only. Breakfast is decent, it has both Japanese and western style food buffet. I usually made a fusion breakfast. Love that breakfast starts at 6:30am for those of us that needed to get out early. Both coffee machines in the lobby and breakfast area made pretty good coffee.

The hotel is very clean and with many conveniences inside, as well as an amazing location for moving around Kyoto and with many places to eat and shop in walking distance. The best thing was the bath, shikinoyu. It is available for all guests and it is very relaxing after walking around or working for the whole day.

The breakfast was top notch and the service was friendly and prompt. The room size was good (by Japanese standards), plenty of storage spots and outlets. The amenities offered were superb, 4 different types of toothbrush (soft to hard), face lotion and pillows (yes you could select extra pillow types). Room cleaning was offered daily, but you could request just towels. Also the location to the station (the heart of Kyoto), conbini and restaurants was perfect!

fantastic location right in front of the main Kyoto station with easy access to all types of transport. The room and hotel in general were clean and staff were very helpful. Plenty of miscellaneous useful items you can borrow from reception (international travel adapter in my case) and a selection of pillows if the basic one isn't to your liking. The large baths are very welcome and appreciated when staying in smaller rooms.

One of the cheapest stays in Kyoto. I loved their artificial onset, which is just as good as any natural onset. They provide washing machines useful for long stays. And they even thrown in a matcha n coffee machine that u can drink on the go. Sanco Inn is directly opp Kyoto Station. We stayed here for 5 days n take day trips to Hiroshima, Osaka and Kobe by train. It is so convenient. Outside Sanco is a local ramen shop to die for. They hv shopping centres n convenient stores all within walking distance. Excellent start to our Japan trip

Excellent location, just opposite Kyoto station Hachi center exit! Good facilities and security overall with everything provided, just need to pick up what you need from the friendly reception. Nice of them to provide chargeable laundry facilities too. We stayed in 3 different hotels in the train station vicinity in different trips and this is our best stay in Sacco Inn. Will certainly return next time.
